THE REPLACEMENTS
by Jerzy Drozd & Sara Turner

When museum employee Helen is instructed to accession a mysterious collection of strange objects she gets more than a mildly interesting day on the job – she gets a gallery full of crazy monsters bent on destruction!

From the authors:

Sara: I like to think of this ocmic as an experiment gone super! But that's just me. Seriously, The Replacements was my first ever collaberation with another artist...and though I've been told that some partnerships just don't work out...this has only been as fun and exciting as I thought it could be. I guess I'm lucky because I don't know WHEN this project will reach it's end.

Jerzy: It's a blast to work on. Because it was always meant as an experimental kind of piece, I get to throw in whatever wild and nutty ideas I want (like a guy whose eye sockets house these nasty hooked chains) without having to worry about the story running away from me. Sara's always there to take the ball when I drop it, to help refine what would otherwise be a jumbled cacophony of things that I think are neat.
Plus I get to draw all kinds of crazy monsters wrecking things. I love that part.
